The Cybersecurity Response Planning program is designed to equip students with the essential skills needed to combat the increasing sophistication of cyberattacks. This Ontario College Graduate Certificate focuses on developing both technical and risk management capabilities, enabling organizations to create effective response strategies against cyber threats. Students will learn to assess, develop, and enhance preventative and responsive measures to mitigate risks associated with cyberattacks. The program emphasizes a blend of business acumen and operational technical skills, preparing graduates for critical roles in cybersecurity. With hands-on learning experiences guided by experienced faculty, this program is ideal for those looking to advance their careers in the field of cybersecurity.

Program structure

The Cybersecurity Response Planning program is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a period of one year, which includes:

  • 2 academic terms of intensive study
  • An optional co-op term to gain practical experience in the field

This hybrid delivery format combines both in-class and online learning, allowing for flexibility in how students engage with the material.
