Program Overview

The Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science at Columbia College equips students with essential knowledge of computing principles and science. This program prepares students for further studies, specifically a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields. Students will develop a robust foundation in computer systems, software engineering, programming, web development, and systems design. Program Structure

The Associate of Science in Computer Science is designed to be completed in a flexible timeframe, allowing students to choose between an accelerated or standard pace:

  • Accelerated Program Length: 16 months through a tri-mester system with intakes in January, May, and September.
  • Standard Program Length: 2 years.
  • Students can take a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 courses per semester.
