Centennial College's Music Industry Arts and Performance (MIAP) program is designed to transform your passion for music into a rewarding career in various music-related fields. This unique advanced diploma program, offered at the School of Media and Creative Arts, spans three years and focuses on nurturing creativity, understanding diverse music cultures, and developing essential business skills. Throughout the program, students will receive mentorship from professional musicians during private lessons and ensemble rehearsals. A significant highlight is the six-week field placement in the final semester, providing practical experience in the real world. The Music Industry Arts and Performance program is structured to be completed in three years, divided into six semesters. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes:

  • Specialization options in the third year, allowing students to choose between the music creation and business stream or the music creation and technology stream.
