Program Overview

The Cybersecurity & Network Technology Diploma program is designed to equip students with the essential skills needed to maintain and secure computer and network systems. This diploma focuses on practical, hands-on experience, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to tackle real-world challenges in the field of cybersecurity. Students will learn to design, configure, and optimize systems to protect against various cyber threats. Program Structure

The Cybersecurity & Network Technology Diploma program spans over two years and consists of four academic terms. Students have the option to graduate after the first year as a Cybersecurity & Network Support Technician, which prepares them for entry-level roles in the IT industry. The program structure includes:

  • Full-time study with the possibility of alternating between studies and paid work through co-op education.
  • Approximately 30 hours of study per week, with half of that time spent in dedicated computer labs.
  • Access to modern instrumentation and resources in the labs from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm.
  • Hands-on learning experiences that cover installation, maintenance, and security of computer systems.
  • An optional internship component that provides paid work experience, enhancing employability.

Throughout the program, students will gain a thorough understanding of computer systems, networking, and cybersecurity principles, preparing them for various roles in the technology sector.
