Ignite your imagination and learn to animate in both 2D and 3D with the Animation program at Cambrian College. If you dream of working in the animated film, television, or gaming industry, this program is designed for you. You will develop your drawing and storytelling skills through the 12 principles of animation, utilizing industry-standard software and hardware in a spacious 13,900-square-foot studio. This hands-on experience will allow you to apply traditional techniques to both 2D and 3D animation, providing you with a solid foundation in the animation process. Upon graduation, you can enter the workforce as an animation generalist or continue your education by joining the final year of Cambrian College’s advanced diploma program in Animation, where you can specialize in either 2D or 3D animation.

Program Structure

The Animation program at Cambrian College is structured over a duration of 4 semesters (2 years). The program is delivered on-campus and is full-time, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive education in animation. Key features of the program structure include:
