Program Overview

The 3D Modeling, Art and Animation diploma program at BCIT is a comprehensive 18-month full-time course designed to equip students with both creative and technical skills essential for success in the gaming, film, and television industries. Throughout the program, students will engage in hands-on learning experiences that cover the entire 3D workflow, including modeling, animation, texturing, lighting, and compositing. The curriculum is tailored to meet industry demands, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to enter the workforce. By the end of the program, students will have developed a professional demo reel that showcases their abilities, making them competitive candidates in the job market.

Program Structure

The 3D Modeling, Art and Animation diploma program is structured as follows:

  • Delivery Format: Blended (partly on campus and partly online)
