The Advanced 3D Animation & 3D Modelling program at Bow Valley College is designed to transform your creative ideas into reality. This diploma program, offered by the Centre for Entertainment Arts, immerses students in a comprehensive learning experience focused on developing industry-ready skills in character and creature animation, rigging, sculpting, texturing, and surfacing. Students will also gain a solid foundation in storytelling, acting, and visual composition. By the end of the program, graduates will have a polished portfolio showcasing their talent, ready to make their mark in the fields of 3D animation, modelling, visual effects, and gaming.

Program structure

The Advanced 3D Animation & 3D Modelling program spans over 6 terms, providing a full-time, two-year educational experience. The program structure is designed to equip students with both technical and creative skills necessary for success in the industry. Key features of the program include:
