Program overview

The Business Administration Ontario College Advanced Diploma program is a three-year course designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge for a successful career in business. This program is ideal for those who are interested in pursuing a business career but are uncertain about which specialization to choose at the beginning. In the initial three semesters, known as the Core, students will engage in a variety of general business courses, which will aid them in selecting a Major for the final three semesters. Upon completing the sixth semester in the third year, students will be awarded their advanced diploma.

Program structure

The Business Administration program is structured to provide a comprehensive foundation in business principles over a span of three years. The program is divided into two main parts:

• Core Semesters (1-3): Students will take a variety of general business courses to help them identify their interests and choose a Major.
• Major Semesters (4-6): Students will focus on courses specific to their chosen Major, allowing for in-depth learning and networking opportunities.

Students can select from the following Majors:

• Accounting (also available online)
• Finance
• General Business (also available online)
• Supply Chain and Operations Management

Additionally, the program offers opportunities for students to meet with upper-level students and program coordinators for guidance in selecting their Major. The program is continuously updated to meet the evolving demands of the business world, thanks to the active involvement of the Program Advisory Committee.
