Our capacity for flight and mechanized travel, the complexity of medicine, and all our digital technologies are just a few examples of our reliance on applied mathematics today. At the University of Manitoba, students have access to a rich curriculum that includes both a solid coverage of major areas in mathematics and highly specialized advanced courses. This program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in various fields that utilize mathematics.

Program Structure

The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics program at the University of Manitoba is structured to provide a comprehensive education in mathematics over a 4-year period, assuming a full course load. The program offers various options to cater to different academic interests and career goals, including:

  • Mathematics (Honours) with Co-op option
  • Mathematics (Double Honours) with Co-op option
