Academic Requirements

For admission to the Bachelor of Arts and Science - Economics & Mathematics program at the University of Lethbridge, the following requirements must be met:

Minimum GPA: A minimum average of 65% across five specified courses is required for Canadian high school students in Alberta.
Required Courses:
- English Language Arts 30-1
- Three of the following courses:
  - Aboriginal Studies 30
  - Art 30 or Art 31
  - Biology 30
  - Chemistry 30
  - Choral Music 30, General Music 30, or Instrumental Music 30
  - Dance 35
  - Drama 30
  - Mathematics 30-1 or Mathematics 30-2
  - Mathematics 31
  - Physics 30
  - Science 30
  - Social Studies 30-1
  - Five credits in Advanced-level CTS Computer Science (CSE)
  - One or more distinct languages at the 30 level
- One additional requirement from the list above that has not already been used, must be at the 30 level, and worth at least five credits.
Prerequisite Course: One of the courses included must be Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2.

Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases. Vietnam International Students: Require at least four years of study with a minimum overall grade of 7/10.

Language Requirements

Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) assessment with a minimum overall score of 70, and a minimum score of 60 in each component.
Duolingo English Test with a minimum overall score of 120, and a minimum score of 110 in each subscore.
