Academic Requirements

The University Admission Preparation Online (UAP-O) program has specific Academic Requirements that prospective students must meet to ensure their eligibility. Below are the key requirements:

Minimum Age Requirement: Students must be at least 18 years old.
Academic Qualifications: Students must have one of the following qualifications:
- IELTS (academic) overall score of 6 or higher with a minimum score of 5.5 in each skill area (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing).
- iBT TOEFL score of 79 or higher with no section less than 17.
- CAEL score of 60 with no subscore less than 50.
- MET (4 skill exam) overall score of 58 with no subscore less than 53.
- Passing grade (80%) in level 500 Academic in the Intensive English (ELPI) Program or Intensive English Online (ELPI-O).
- Passing grade (80%) in level 500 General in the Intensive English (ELPI) Program, with a passing grade on the UAP writing test.
Tests taken more than two years before your application to the English Language Centre will not be accepted.
Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
