The Bachelor of Planning in Northern and Rural Community Planning at UNBC is designed to engage students with the unique social, economic, and ecological challenges faced by northern and rural communities. Program structure

The Bachelor of Planning in Northern and Rural Community Planning is structured to provide a thorough education over a 4-year period. The program offers the following features:

  • Experiential Learning opportunities, including a Co-op option
  • Part-time study options available
  • Intakes available in January, May, and September
  • Honours option not available

This program prepares students to work in diverse communities, equipping them with the necessary skills to tackle the unique planning requirements of northern and circumpolar regions.
