Program overview

The Digital Media Design program at Red River College Polytechnic offers a comprehensive introduction to the foundations of digital media design. This one-year certificate program is designed for students who wish to explore various aspects of digital media, including graphic design, 3D artistry, digital sculpting, video and motion graphics, photography, web design and development, drawing and illustration, and communications. With a focus on practical skills and creative expression, students will be well-prepared to enter the dynamic field of digital media.

Program structure

The Digital Media Design program is structured to provide students with a solid foundation in digital media design over a period of one year. Key features of the program include:

  • Opportunity to progress to a diploma program upon completion

Students who complete the certificate can choose to enter the Digital Media Design Diploma program, focusing on either Video and Motion Graphics or Web Design and Development. Additionally, those interested in 3D Computer Graphics may apply to the two-year Game Development program.
