The Business Diploma at Red Deer Polytechnic is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the functional areas of business. This program empowers students to progress into management roles or to run their own businesses. It offers credit towards a Bachelor of Business Administration at RDP and prepares students for potential transfer into a Bachelor of Commerce program at various universities. The program is available for both full-time and part-time students, and it accepts international students.

The Business Diploma program spans a duration of two years, equipping students with essential business principles and operational knowledge. The structure of the program includes:

  • Completion of 20 courses, including 18 core business courses and 2 elective options.
  • Opportunities for work-integrated learning, including a 90-hour practical experience.
