Academic Requirements

Our admissions decisions are based on your academic record, leadership skills, a high level of commitment, and the potential for personal growth. Below are the specific Academic Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts - English program:

Minimum Grade Requirement: A minimum final grade of 65% or the equivalent is required in all university-preparatory courses reviewed.
Prerequisite Courses:
- A university-preparatory math course (pre-calculus) is required.
- A university-preparatory language arts course and at least four additional university-preparatory courses are generally required.
Early Admission Consideration: Students may be considered based on their final Grade 11 transcripts. A minimum admissions average of 80% is required for early admission.
Official Transcripts: Transcripts must be sent directly to Mount Allison’s Registrar’s Office by the issuing institution. Notarized English translations should be included if applicable.
