Academic Requirements

Our admissions decisions are based on your academic record, leadership skills, a high level of commitment, and the potential for personal growth. Below are the specific Academic Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts - Cognitive Science program:

Minimum Grade Requirement: A minimum final grade of 65% or the equivalent is required in all university-preparatory courses reviewed.
Prerequisite Courses:
- A university-preparatory math course (pre-calculus) is required.
- A university-preparatory language arts course and at least four additional university-preparatory courses are generally required.
Early Admission Consideration: Students may be considered based on their final Grade 11 transcripts. A minimum admissions average of 80% is required for early admission.
Official Transcripts: Transcripts must be sent directly to Mount Allison’s Registrar’s Office by the issuing institution. Notarized English translations should be included if applicable.

Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
