Academic Requirements

To be accepted into the Master of Arts - Interdisciplinary Health program, students must meet the following requirements:

Students are required to have an Honours Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Human Kinetics, Sociology, or another related field.
The overall average must be at least B+ (75%).
For those pursuing the M.Sc. option, a B.Sc. degree in Psychology, Human Kinetics, Sociology, or another related field (such as nursing or biology) is required, also with an overall average of at least B+ (75%).

International students should be aware that:

Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

Additionally, students must complete the following prerequisite courses:

INDH 5106E - Theoretical Perspectives in Interdisciplinary Health (3 credits)
INDH 5206E - Methodology and Research Techniques in Interdisciplinary Health (3 credits)
INDH 5426E - Health of the Canadian Population (3 credits)

Academically admissible applicants who do not present appropriate English Proficiency Requirements will be automatically offered a conditional offer of admission based on completion of the English for Academic Preparation (EAP) program in Laurentian University’s Language Institute.
