This program allows students to complete two years of first- and second-year university-level courses, including math and various sciences. Students can also tailor their education by selecting courses that align with specific scientific themes, such as biology, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, or mathematics. This degree serves as a stepping stone for those planning to transfer to a university to continue their education in science.

Program Structure

The Associate of Science program is structured to be completed in four semesters, offering both full-time and part-time learning formats. Key features of the program include:

  • Completion of 60 credits through university transfer courses, which typically equates to approximately 20 courses.
  • General admission requirements that are open to all students.
  • Specialization options available in areas such as Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Mathematics.
  • Co-operative Education Program, which allows students to gain paid, full-time work experience while studying.
