Enhance your English academic writing and verbal communication skills with Dalhousie’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Level 2 program. This program is designed for students who have been conditionally accepted into undergraduate or graduate programs at Dalhousie University or any English-speaking university but need to improve their English language skills. EAP Level 2 focuses on developing advanced academic skills necessary for success in higher education.

Program Structure

The EAP Level 2 program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience over a 12-week period. The program includes:

  • 288 hours of instruction.
  • Courses available in a HyFlex modality, allowing students to choose between online or face-to-face learning.
  • Opportunities to enroll in one undergraduate credit course at Dalhousie while completing EAP Level 2, provided the course is scheduled outside of EAP class hours.

This program is tailored to help students develop the necessary skills for academic success, including reading comprehension, academic vocabulary, and effective communication strategies.
