Academic Requirements

For the Bachelor of Arts & Science program, international applicants must meet specific academic requirements to be considered for admission. Here are the key points:

International applicants are required to have completed a preparatory program that leads to university entrance in their own country.
Generally, an academic language arts course and a minimum of four additional university-preparatory courses are required.
A university preparatory math course is required for students applying to the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration programs.
Students applying for the Bachelor of Science will also be required to have a university-preparatory course in Biology and Chemistry.
Secondary school applicants need to have achieved in their final year of schooling an average of 70% (5 best scoring academic subjects).
Applicants who are looking to transfer from another post-secondary institution are required to have an overall GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.3 scale).

For Vietnamese students, the specific requirement is to have an Upper Secondary School Graduation Certificate with a minimum score of 7.

Language Requirements

English is the language of instruction at Crandall University. If English is not your first language, you are required to submit official test reports with the necessary scores. IELTS – Academic: minimum overall score of 6.5 with no area less than 6.0.
TOEFL-IBT: minimum 100 overall, minimum 24 in each area.
TOEFL-CBT: minimum 236 overall, minimum TWE 4.5.
TOEFL-PBT: minimum 580 overall, minimum TWE 4.5.
CAN-Test: minimum 4.5 overall, minimum 4.0 in each area.
CAEL: minimum band 70 overall, minimum 60 in each area.
CLB: minimum 9 overall, minimum 8 in each area.
Duolingo: minimum 115 overall, minimum 95 in each area.
Cambridge English Scale: minimum overall score of 176 from C1 Advanced. No less than 169 in any paper.
PTE (Pearson) Academic: minimum score of 65 overall.
