Program Overview

The Bachelor of Physical Education Studies (BPES) is a comprehensive three-year undergraduate degree designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills in the field of Physical Education. This program offers three distinct streams of study: Exercise Science and Fitness, Recreation and Sport Management, and Teaching. Students will gain in-depth understanding and specialized skills necessary for careers as Physical Educators, Exercise Science and Health Professionals, Personal Trainers, and Coaches. Additionally, the BPES program provides opportunities for certification through recognized organizations such as the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP), and Manitoba Fitness Council (MFC).
