For students interested in applying to the Bachelor of Arts - History (Optional Co-op) program at Brandon University, the following Academic Requirements must be met:
International Students:
Official transcripts/documents must be sent directly from the granting institution or examination authority.
All documents submitted become the property of Brandon University.
Students in their final year of high school must include a letter from the Principal or designate attesting that graduation from high school will occur before the start of University.
Transcripts not in English must be translated by a certified translator along with a note indicating that the translator received documents in a sealed envelope. The original official transcript and the translation must be sent to the Admissions Office.
Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
Secondary School Admission Requirement: Minimum five academic subjects in final year or senior exit exam with an overall average of C or higher on those subjects.
British Patterned Education (GCE): Minimum 2 Advanced (A) levels and 3 Ordinary (O) levels required with an average of C or higher on those subjects.
International Baccalaureate (IB): International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum overall score of 24 points. The IB Diploma must include at least three Higher Level courses, with the remaining courses at either the Higher Level or the Standard Level.
West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE): C5 or higher in a minimum of five subjects, including English and Mathematics.
