Program Overview

The Biotechnology - Advanced program is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the science behind biotechnology. This program combines both laboratory and theoretical courses, covering essential topics such as cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, and quality systems for labs and manufacturing. Students will engage in hands-on experiments using state-of-the-art laboratory instruments, attend industry talks, and network with professionals. The program also offers opportunities for field placements and applied research projects, enhancing the learning experience.

Program Structure

The Biotechnology - Advanced program is structured over a duration of three years. The program includes:
