Earn a degree in Social Development Studies and prepare for a variety of careers in social work, counselling, and more. Program structure

The Bachelor of Arts in Social Development Studies is designed to provide a comprehensive education over a period of four years. The program includes:

  • Core courses in psychology, sociology, and social work.
  • Opportunities for paid co-op work terms to gain practical experience.
  • Options to add a minor or second major, enhancing your educational breadth.
  • Possibilities for research projects and an honours thesis on topics of personal interest.
