Academic Requirements

To apply for the Bachelor of Arts - Music program at the University of Alberta, students must meet specific Academic Requirements. Here are the key points to consider:

Students must have completed five academic subjects in high school (higher secondary education).
For Vietnamese students, the graduation qualification from the Vietnam High School Graduation/University Entrance Exam (Thi Tot Nghiep THPT/Tuyen Sinh Cao Dang-Dai Hoc) is accepted.
A conditional offer can be obtained with school results from Grade 11 and the first semester of Grade 12.
To receive an unconditional offer, students need a minimum average of 4.9 across all five required subjects in the graduation exam. No subject can have a grade below 4, and Civic Education cannot be included in the admission average calculation.
Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
