Academic Requirements

For the Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence at St. Francis Xavier University, the Academic Requirements are as follows:

Language Requirements

Pearson Test of English – Academic: 60 overall with no score below 50
Oxford ELLT Digital: 7 overall and no lower than 6 in each band
Oxford ELLT Global: 7 overall and no lower than 6 in each band

Students may be exempt from providing proof of English language proficiency if they meet certain criteria, such as having studied for the last two years in an English-speaking institution or achieving a minimum 70% average in Grade 12 English through the Nova Scotia International Students Program (NSISP).

If an applicant's test scores fall below the minimum requirement but they meet other admission criteria, they may be offered admission into the English for Academic Purposes program with conditional admission into a bachelor’s degree, provided they successfully complete the EAP program.
