Academic Requirements

The admission requirements for the Interactive Design and Technology Diploma program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic are as follows:

Grade 12 completion is required.
English Language Requirement is necessary for all applicants.
Basic computer literacy is essential for success in the program.
Alternative admission may be available for applicants who do not possess the academic qualifications, provided they can demonstrate probable success through an alternative admission assessment.
For alternative admission using the ACCUPLACER©, the following cut scores are required:
- 250 in Reading
- 245 in Writing
- 4 in Writeplacer
Some programs may allow applicants to meet the admission grade level requirement using 15 approved post-secondary credits.
The admission method follows a First Qualified/First Admitted process, meaning that applicants are offered admission based on the date they fully qualify for the program.
