The Cybersecurity diploma program at Red River College Polytechnic is designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills needed to protect information and mitigate risks in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity. This program prepares students for entry-level positions by covering foundational IT concepts, including customer experience, networking, and security operations. Students will also delve into advanced topics such as vulnerability management, security monitoring, detection, and response. The curriculum emphasizes practical application through hands-on simulated environments and a Work-Integrated Learning component, providing valuable industry experience.

The Cybersecurity diploma program is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a two-year period. Key features of the program include:

  • Fall entry date with an additional winter entry date for January 2027.
  • Offered at the Exchange District Campus and South Winnipeg Campus in Winnipeg.
