Medical Laboratory Science - Bridge is a unique program designed for those looking to enter the high-demand field of medical laboratory technology. As the healthcare system increasingly relies on sophisticated laboratory technologies for diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases, this program equips students with essential knowledge and skills in biological, physical, and health sciences. The curriculum covers five key laboratory disciplines: biochemistry, hematology, histotechnology, microbiology, and transfusion science. Graduates will be eligible to write the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science “General MLT” certification examination, paving the way for a rewarding career in medical laboratory technology.

The Medical Laboratory Science - Bridge program is structured to provide a comprehensive education over a duration of six semesters. This full-time program is delivered in-class at Ontario Tech University, North Oshawa, with a start date in September. Key features of the program structure include:
