Memorial’s Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) is designed for students who value flexibility in their education. This program enables students to acquire essential business skills while allowing them to tailor their study pace and location. With a focus on developing expertise for a successful career in business, the Bachelor of Commerce program provides a comprehensive foundation that prepares students for various opportunities in the business world.

Program structure

The Bachelor of Commerce program at Memorial University is structured to accommodate both full-time and part-time students, offering a flexible learning environment. The program is designed to be completed in four years and includes:

  • Common first year (Business One) for all undergraduates
  • Part-time and full-time study options
  • Courses available on campus, online, or through a combination of both
  • Mandatory professional development seminars

  • Study abroad options

Students are required to complete three non-credit professional development seminars in partnership with the Gardiner Centre, focusing on career development, job search strategies, professionalism, and individual skill enhancement.
