The Doula Care Across the Lifespan program at Fanshawe College is a unique two-year diploma designed to provide holistic, trauma-informed support for individuals and families during significant life transitions. This program is the first of its kind to fully integrate both reproductive and end-of-life doula practices, preparing graduates to assist clients from the first breath to the last. The curriculum emphasizes emotional, physical, and informational support, covering a wide range of experiences including abortion, birth, postpartum care, and bereavement. This program builds on the existing Doula Studies certificate, offering a pathway for advanced standing into the diploma.
