Program Overview

The Post-Degree Diploma in International Business Management at Douglas College is designed to equip students with essential skills in international trade. This program covers key areas such as importing and exporting, market research, supply chain management, and the legal and financial aspects of international business. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate the complexities of global markets, making them well-prepared for careers in international business.

 

Program Structure

The International Business Management program is structured to be completed in one year. It offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes:

  • Practical training through the Career Boost Program.
  • Opportunities to engage in real-world projects via the Business Internship Program.
  • Automatic enrollment in the Forum for International Trade and Training (FITT) program, providing students with additional resources and certifications.

This program is offered in three intakes: Fall, Summer, and Winter. Students must have a bachelor's degree to enroll, and they will complete a total of 30 credits throughout the program.

  • Partnership with the FITT program, allowing students to earn an industry-recognized FITT Diploma in International Trade.
  • Eligibility to apply for the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation after gaining a year of work experience in international trade.
