Program overview
The Associate Degree in Gender, Sexualities and Women’s Studies at Douglas College provides a comprehensive understanding of the socio-cultural, economic, and psychological inequities that exist globally. Program structure
The Gender, Sexualities and Women’s Studies Associate Degree is structured to be completed over four semesters. This program offers an open enrolment admission type, allowing students to start in the Fall, Winter, or Summer semesters. Key features of the program include:
- Completion of 60 University Transfer credits
- Opportunity to participate in a Co-operative Education Program, which alternates semesters of study with paid, full-time work experience
- Access to a mathematics refresher course, MATU 0500 Set for Stats, to prepare for the required statistics course
Students are encouraged to plan their courses carefully to ensure a smooth transition to a university program, as all credits can be transferred to a four-year bachelor's degree program.
