Program Overview

The Asian Studies Associate Degree at Douglas College is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Asia's diverse cultures, histories, and languages. This two-year program prepares graduates for various careers in international trade, consular services, immigration, tourism, journalism, finance, marketing, and intercultural communication. Students will explore significant topics in religion, politics, and culture while developing language skills in either Chinese (Mandarin) or Japanese.
