Program Overview

The Education & Career Planning Certificate is designed to assist individuals at any stage of their life in clarifying their educational and career paths. Whether you are just out of high school, transitioning careers, or looking to make the most of your later years, this program provides a supportive environment to explore your options. The program emphasizes self-awareness, helping you to identify your interests, abilities, and potential, while also boosting your self-confidence. With a focus on work-search strategies and current labor market trends, you will be equipped to set personal, career, and educational goals that align with your aspirations.

Program Structure

The Education & Career Planning Certificate is a 7-week online program that is tuition-free. Here are some key features of the program structure:

  • Delivery Method: Fully online, allowing you to participate from the comfort of your home.
  • Study Options: Available for full-time study.
  • Work Experience: None required.
  • Class Commitment: Six hours per week in a virtual classroom, plus 14 hours per week for self-directed study.
  • International Students: The program is open to international students, although it does not meet the criteria for an Off-campus Work program or a Post-graduation Work Permit.

 

This program is currently on pause for the 2025/26 academic year as it undergoes redesign for the 2026/27 school year. Interested individuals are encouraged to join the interest list for updates.
