Program overview

The Legal Assistant program at Bow Valley College prepares students to become essential members of a legal team. Legal assistants are skilled administrators who support lawyers in various legal matters. This diploma program emphasizes the development of superior computer skills, attention to detail, effective time management, and strong communication abilities. Students will engage in practical experiences, including a mandatory field placement, to ensure they are well-prepared for their future careers in the legal field.

Program structure

  • Courses offered in both in-person and online formats, although not all courses may be available each semester.
