Program Overview

The Police Foundations Ontario College Diploma program is your first step in preparing for a career in law enforcement. This program provides a foundational knowledge of the field, combining both theoretical and applied lessons to help you prepare for employment in the industry. The curriculum covers essential topics such as police powers and procedures, community policing, investigation processes, diversity, social sciences, and communications. With a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, students engage in in-class scenario situations and a dedicated fitness program. Additionally, students are required to complete 25 hours of volunteering at an approved community-based agency, further enhancing their practical experience and community engagement.
