Academic Requirements

To apply for the BA/BSc Economics program at the University of Victoria, students must meet the following Academic Requirements:

• Applicants should apply as either a high school student or a transfer student from another post-secondary institution.
• It is recommended that students have a minimum admission average, although the specific GPA is not mentioned.

• IELTS Academic (including results from IELTS One Skill Retake): Minimum score of 6.5 (no component less than 6.0)
• MET (4-skill only): Minimum score of 64
• PTE: Minimum score of 65 (no skill less than 60)
• TOEFL iBT (UVic's TOEFL institution code is 0989): Minimum score of 90 (no section less than 20)
