Welcome to the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting program at the University of Ottawa! This program is designed to immerse students in the world of theatre, covering everything from practice to theory, and performance to reception. The Department of Theatre is dedicated to nurturing creative expression and intellectual stimulation. Students will engage in various aspects of theatrical events, including acting, directing, playwriting, arts administration, dramaturgy, theatre history, and technical theatre. With opportunities to participate in up to thirty original productions each season, students will gain hands-on experience in a vibrant artistic environment. This program is offered in both English and French, catering to a diverse student body.
