Program overview

The Global Crime and Justice program at Ontario Tech University offers a comprehensive exploration of the foundations of historical and contemporary patterns of social control. Students will delve into the three main institutions of formal control: police, courts, and corrections. This program critically analyzes criminological and sociological explanations for criminal behavior, examining how societies define crime and who is labeled as a criminal. Program structure
