Program Overview

The Bachelor of Social Work degree is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to work with families and communities, providing essential support and transforming lives. The Bachelor of Social Work program offers two distinct admission routes, allowing flexibility for students based on their educational background:

  • Post-diploma route: For graduates of MacEwan University’s Social Work program or an accredited Alberta Social Work diploma program.
  • University Credit Transfer route: For those who have completed 60 university-level credits.

The program is structured to provide a comprehensive education in social work, with a focus on practical experience through practicum placements.
