Program overview

The Associate of Arts in Geography is a two-year program focused on Human Geography. It aims to provide students with a solid foundation of conceptual knowledge and applied skills that support further studies in Geography, promote engaged citizenship, and prepare students for introductory employment opportunities in both public and private sectors. The curriculum integrates coursework in human geography and urban geography, along with lab-science courses in earth science and atmospheric science. Additionally, students will gain foundational skills in using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze and present spatial data.

Program structure

The Associate of Arts in Geography program is designed to be completed in a two-year timeframe. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes:
