Academic Requirements

To apply for the Bachelor of Education - Elementary Generalist Degree at Keyano College, applicants must meet the following Academic Requirements:

High School Diploma (or equivalent): A minimum average of 60% is required, with no mark below 50% in the following subjects:
- English 30-1 or equivalent
- Three subjects from Group A or C
- One subject from Group A, B, or C
Mature Students: Applicants who are 21 years or older with a high school diploma but have not completed all required courses can enter the program as mature students. They must also have a minimum average of 60% with no mark below 50% in:
- English 30-1 or equivalent
- One subject from Group A or C
After Degree Students: Students with an approved three-year or four-year degree can complete their education degree in 2 years by entering the collaborative degree program in year 3. Additional requirements include the completion of:
- 3 credits in English Literature
- 3 credits in English Literature, Linguistics, or Writing Studies/Composition
Transcripts: Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.

Language Requirements
