Program Overview

The Academic Foundations for Potential Health Information Management Applicants is a one-year Certificate program designed for students interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management (BSc HIM) but who may not meet all the prerequisites. This program offers 10 university transferable credit courses that seamlessly transfer into the BSc HIM degree. Upon successful completion of the required courses with a minimum final grade of C+, students will receive priority registration for the BSc HIM program, allowing them to complete their degree in an additional three years.
