Program Overview
The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) program at Vancouver Community College (VCC) is ideal for those passionate about working with children and shaping their early development. This program prepares students to become professional early childhood educators who understand how to support young children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth in inclusive learning environments.
Through a mix of classroom learning and hands-on training, students gain the knowledge and confidence to create nurturing spaces where children thrive. Graduates will be eligible to apply for certification as Early Childhood Educators (ECE) in British Columbia, a requirement for working in licensed childcare settings.

Program Structure
This 2-year full-time diploma program blends theory and practice to help students master essential skills in child development and care.
