Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria is designed for students who are passionate about addressing the environmental challenges facing our communities. This program emphasizes the importance of understanding how human activities impact the environment and equips students with the skills necessary to create positive change. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, students will engage in community-based research and develop action plans aimed at ecological restoration projects.

Program Structure

The BA in Environmental Studies is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of environmental issues over a four-year period. Students will have the opportunity to:
