The Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley is designed to explore the study of human movement. The Bachelor of Kinesiology program spans a duration of 4 years and offers various options for students, including a full degree, a minor in Biology, and a minor in Kinesiology for those pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of General Studies. The program is structured as follows:

  • Years 1 and 2: Foundational topics such as human anatomy, sport psychology, biomechanics, and human nutrition.
  • Years 3 and 4: Advanced skills in teaching, counseling athletes, and understanding athletic injuries, research methods, and exercise prescription.
