Program overview

The Clinical Research (CRQ) program is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate designed to equip students with essential skills in research design, analysis, and quality assurance within the clinical research field. Students will delve into clinical studies across various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and natural health products. This hands-on program emphasizes collaboration with industry professionals, allowing students to build a valuable network before graduation. The program is available online, providing flexibility for students to learn at their own pace while gaining insights into the dynamic world of clinical research.

Program structure

The Clinical Research program is structured to be completed in 2 semesters (1 year), offering a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for a career in clinical research. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Online delivery, allowing students to learn remotely without the need to attend campus.
  • Optional work term, providing students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field.
  • Flexibility to transfer between work term and non-work term streams at any time.
  • Guidance and support through in-class career workshops and one-on-one coaching for work term preparation.

This program meets the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility requirements, making it an excellent choice for both Canadian and international students.
