Combine entrepreneurial thinking with a passion for social impact in the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship program. This specialization is designed for students eager to develop innovative solutions, build sustainable organizations, and lead initiatives that tackle complex social, economic, and environmental challenges. By integrating creativity, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial leadership, students will learn to create meaningful change. Program structure

The Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship program is structured to provide a comprehensive educational experience over a four or five-year period, depending on the chosen path. Key features of the program include:

  • Full-time study load
  • In-class delivery method
  • Experiential learning opportunities, including co-op, internships, practicums, and research studies
  • Undergraduate thesis option for in-depth exploration of a relevant topic
  • Start dates available in September and January

This program is offered at Ontario Tech University, located in Downtown Oshawa, and is part of the Arts – General program, allowing students to develop a broad interdisciplinary foundation while gaining practical skills in social innovation and entrepreneurship.
