Academic Requirements

When applying for the Bachelor of Arts - Political Science (Blended Delivery) program, there are specific Academic Requirements that international students must meet. Here’s a detailed overview:

General Requirements:

Applicants must submit an academic transcript indicating all subjects taken and grades earned.
Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
Applicants may be considered for conditional admission based on mid-year/mid-term results. Mid-year results and a secondary school transcript must be submitted directly to Huron from the institutions attended.
If issued a conditional offer of admission, you will be required to have your final official academic transcript sent to Huron directly from the proper issuing authority.

Program Prerequisites:

Arts and Social Science: NO COURSE PREREQUISITES.
Management and Organizational Studies: Senior Level Math is recommended but not required.

International Students:

For international students, including those from Vietnam and other Asian countries, it is essential to provide the following:

Upper Secondary School Graduation and National Examination Results, including Year 10, 11, and 12 results (Hoc Ba) and High School Graduation National Examination Results.
All documents must be submitted in English or accompanied by notarized English translations if issued in another language.

Language Requirements

If you have not studied for a minimum of four years (including the final year) in an institution where the language of instruction is English, you are required to submit a satisfactory English Language Proficiency test score. Huron requires one of the following:

- No section less than: 6.0
TOEFL (iBT) and Home Edition
- Minimum overall score: 83
- No section less than: 20
CAEL
- Minimum overall score: 60
- No section less than: 60
PTE ACADEMIC
- Minimum overall score: 58
- No section less than: 56
DUOLINGO
- Minimum overall score: 115
- No section less than: 100

Students who do not meet Huron’s English language requirement but are academically admissible will automatically be admitted into an Academic English program.

Huron offers students conditional acceptance into undergraduate studies pending final completion of an approved language program. Students who successfully complete the language program will not have to provide an English Language Proficiency test examination score.
